Strength and Conditioning is an important part of becoming a well-rounded cyclist.

Going to the gym for the first time can be very daunting... Lots of complicated looking equipment around and intimidating "BUFF" guys hanging around with all the gains.
To combat this, new for 2016/17 we are introducing Cycling Group Gym Sessions on Friday meeting at the lobby area inside the Sports Centre at 5pm.
Here we will be able to show you and explain the techniques for all exercises that will benefit you for cycling. Amongst this there will definitely be squats, deadlifts, box jumps (for explosive sprinting muscles) and even a bit of arm strengthening!
We will meet every week, even when everyone knows what they are doing as its always nice to have others pushing you and keeping you company in the gym!
